Job Title: Opto-Electronic Production Technician

Job Description:
- Interacts with Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, Engineering, and field personnel.
- Performs precision optical, opto-mechanical, and electro-optical assembly for camera systems used in radar and airborne platforms.
- Aligns, focuses, and tests optical assemblies and subassemblies to defined procedures.
- Performs equipment setup, operation, testing, calibration, and minor preventative maintenance on production and optical test equipment.
- Inspects optical and mechanical components for defects, contamination, and workmanship compliance.
- Troubleshoots and debugs hardware using established processes and technical knowledge.
- Accurately records build and test data in traveler documentation.
- Supports onsite and/or offsite field testing and data collection activities.
- Maintains production equipment and ensures work area is clean, safe, and well maintained.
- Ensures products meet performance, quality, and reliability requirements prior to release to production.
- Ability to obtain and maintain access to U.S. military installations and commercial air bases/airport operational areas.
Preferred Skills:
- Computer savvy.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Experience working with optics, imaging systems, or precision electro-mechanical assemblies is highly preferred.
- Experience working in ESD and cleanliness-controlled environments is a plus.
